About Farmgate Mate

What is Farmgate Mate?

Farmgate Mate is a new agri-tourism program aimed at getting more drive tourists out into the regional and rural areas of Australia to sample our great produce and experience our warm hospitality.

The program is based on the very popular France Passion program that has been running successfully in Europe for over 24 years. The program links up self-contained drive tourists (motorhomes, campervans or caravans) to a wide range of different farm hosts and experiences.

Farm hosts provide a FREE parking space on their property for up to 24hrs, in return the driver has the opportunity to sample and/or purchase local produce direct from the farmgate.
